Just after 22 minutes, following Terry's first night at the stables, Arthur opens his hotel balcony door expecting a peaceful view of the west pier. Sadly, this pier suffered what is believed to be an arson attack in 2003. Read more here. The view from this picture shows Arthur is staying at 'The Metropole', now a Hilton Hotel.
