The End-Credits
According to George Cole, the photographs seen in the end credits were filmed
approximately three weeks before the first episode of Minder was actually filmed.
The end credits feature a series of 16 shots all taken in black & white of Terry
and Arthur in various parts of London.
Shots 1 and 2 were taken in Arthur's car lot and always contained the actors/actresses for that particular episode.

Shots 10 & 11 - The Leaning Lamppost
Pictures by Andrew Brooks
and jno
One of the stills
shows Arthur and Terry walking past a leaning lamppost and then posing as if
they were holding it up. The location of the lamppost is in a small alley-way
(Newman Passage) off Rathbone Street London W1. The lamppost was a tourist attraction in the 70s and
80s when people posed as if they were trying to straighten it. The leaning
lamppost has now been removed and a new one is in its place. This is just five
minutes walk from Oxford Street.
