Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding Minder which Richard Woolfe has asked us to answer on his behalf. We apologise for the delay in responding. Unfortunately, we will not be commissioning a further series of this programme. However, we appreciate you taking the time to contact us. If there is anything further we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your interest in Five. The petition for another series still exists should you wish to share your opinion on this: click here. |
We want everyone to enjoy Minder, including those with impaired hearing.
We are also running our own petition to ask ITV4 to include
subtitles on repeats of classic Minder episodes. Why this isn't done
automatically is shameful.
It takes 1 minute to complete! Sign our petition
here.

Minder Facts Minder was created by the writer Leon Griffiths. The series was first broadcast in October 1979 and spanned a very long and impressive 15 years, finally coming to an end in March 1994. A totally classic series. It featured three main stars in this time, Terry McCann played by Dennis Waterman, Ray Daley played by Gary Webster and the infamous Arthur Daley played by the legendary George Cole. This site divides the whole series up into how we feel it is best remembered.During the 1970s and 1980s The Terry McCann Years is the original series that featured Dennis Waterman as Arthur's original hard man Minder Terry McCann. In 1991 this series was followed by The Ray Daley Years that featured Gary Webster as Arthur's nephew Ray Daley in the 1990s. |
