Minder's Dodgy Motors

Are you watching carefully? This page is dedicated to the more unknown cars that appeared in Minder. They can often be seen in the background, driving or driven past or simply parked up somewhere.

This features in every episode of series 1 as well as in three episodes of 'The Professionals'.

First spotted by Eastway, this is one of the hardest to spot - this may well have been a Euston films catering bus.

If this car was a stock car used by Euston Films at the time, it is interesting that it is a left-hand drive on foreign plates.

In #1.4 'A Tethered Goat', watch very closely as Sardi (Nadim Sawalha) makes a run for it - within just a few seconds this car has moved to the other side of the street!

This 90bhp Cortina 1.6 Ghia can be seen throughout series one and two of the show.

Probably the dodgiest motor of them all. Repossessed by Terry in series 1 and used as a taxi just four episodes later. In series 2, it re-appears as a wedding car and four episodes later as Terry's old school friend's motor.

Parked at Arthur's niece's wedding in episode 6, just two episodes later Arthur's friend Muriel Standen seems to be driving it around! Later on in the series this car is sold by Arthur to an unsuspecting punter.

Used by two separate villains in this series, the plate is the same and the cars are nearly the same too!

With its distinctive 'PRARIE' logo along the rear, this car is seen in several episodes of series 5.

Despite Chisholm leaving the force, he still seems to be driving around in Jones's white Cavalier, also used by another policeman in a raid!
