At four minutes we see this demolition and construction site where Arthur haggles with Pat (Dermot) about the price of the fireplaces. The location has changed completely in recent years with the gasometer much reduced in size and this land built on. The building in the background on Morie Road still exists though as shown in the more recent shot below.

Although we never see the front of the shop, The Old Anchor Pub can clearly be seen on the opposite side of Richmond Road through Newell's front window. Newell's shop is actually 'Marble Hill Fireplaces' and they have their own website here.
