At 1h33m52s, Arthur, Terry & Nikki are walking along train tracks here towards the old station in Fréthun. Based on historical satellite images, it is likely this station and its immediate surroundings that all feature in the film were demolished sometime during 1988 and 1989. The two angled pylons seen below were still present in 2009 on route D304, immediately beyond the station car park.

A completely new station now exists at this location, Calais-Frethun TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) - which officially opened in September 1993. This is the first station on the continental side of the Eurostar route.

Some young french lads on motorcycles spot the bag thrown from the train and grab it.

The lads then ride off on the D271, along with the only clues to finding the fortune.

With the fortune lost, Terry gives Crane one parting shot and Crane and Hart walk away along the platform.
